Safflower Color
Lately you may have noticed that our Safflower seed isn't as bright as usual. Don't worry, the seeds are absolutely fine and safe for your birds.
With so many new additions to the bird feeding community, the demand for Safflower passed the supply that was available from Idaho and Utah, where the seeds are bright white.
Instead, we are now sourcing our Safflower from Montana, where the seeds are little bit darker. The two colors of seed taste the same and have the same shell thickness, so both will deter the squirrels, raccoons, and blackbirds.
We hope to have the usual seed in by October, but until then the Safflower may be a little dark.
